Masterpieces of Architecture – Internationally renowned architects designed the villas of the Eden Reserve Hotel & Villas

The villa ensemble of the Eden Reserve Hotel & Villas is an architectural wonder, perfectly embedded in the hilly Mediterranean landscape and offering dreamlike views of Lake Garda. From David Chipperfield, Matteo Thun and Richard Meier to Marc Mark from ATP Sphere, each of the seven villas was designed by an international star architect, bearing their unmistakable signature.

David Chipperfield

David Chipperfield, born in London in 1953, studied architecture and also worked in the offices of Richard Rogers and Norman Foster after graduating. In 1985 he founded the architectural office David Chipperfield Architects in London before opening offices in Berlin, Shanghai and Milan. Chipperfield works internationally, and his work has been awarded many prizes.

Matteo Thun

The South Tyrolean architect and designer Matteo Thun, born in Bolzano on 17 June 1952, studied architecture at the University of Florence, graduating summa cum laude. At the Salzburg Summer Academy, he attended courses by the painter Oskar Kokoschka, and in 1980, he became a co-founder of the Memphis group. From 1983 onwards, Thun taught design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna for over a decade. In 1984, Matteo Thun founded his own studio in Milan, with offices in Shanghai.
