The staff of the Eden Reserve Hotel & Villas present their favourite places around Lake Garda. In this second issue, our spa manager Giada Nodari reveals where she enjoys culinary delights and which places she finds particularly beautiful on Lake Garda.
What do you particularly love/appreciate about the region around Lake Garda?
The mild climate and the breathtaking landscape between the lake and the hills. The Regional Park dell’Alto Garda near Gardone Riviera on the western shore, where the Eden Reserve Hotel & Villas is also located, is a beautiful landscape.
Enjoy the breathtaking view from La Rocca di Manerba
This is the place where I particularly like to go hiking.
I like hiking or walking in La Rocca di Manerba, where you have a breathtaking view from the 216-metre-high rock that drops steeply into the lake. With the remains of the castle ruins and the beautiful park with the walking paths, it is a very special place.
I can relax well in this place; it’s my oasis of calm.
La Rocca di Manerba is the perfect oasis of relaxation for me. The landscape below the impressive cliff near Manerba del Garda, and the fantastic views of southern Lake Garda and the shores opposite have a calming effect on me.
This is the bar where I prefer to meet my friends.
At the Bar Italia in Salò, right on the lake promenade. In general, though, the old quarter of Salò is a very nice place to stroll, eat and shop.
