Object

This three-building villa makes sophisticated use of the conditions offered by its hillside location high above the lake. The pool and terrace are located in the inner courtyard. The single-storey building, which forms the upper end of the building arrangement, offers space for spa, fitness and sauna, with direct access to the pool terrace with its expansive view over Lake Garda. A guest house in the same style completes the spacious villa complex.

Architecture

The villa reflects architectural elements of the “sister villa” Chipperfield North: the cubic structures made of light natural stone, the clean lines and the concept of terraces integrated into the buildings, shaded by pergola roofs. This architecturally fascinating villa was designed by the internationally awarded architect David Chipperfield. The dominating main building with the two-storey pergola terrace in front offers a spacious dining room and the kitchen on the ground floor. The upper floor is the space for the living area, divided into three zones, with direct access to the swimming pool and wellness area. The single-storey building in front offers several bedrooms, living rooms and adjoining rooms. Here, too, a terrace with a shady pergola is connected.
Another building, set into the slope to the north, is separated from the main house by the swimming pool terrace. This building, also with a pergola in front, serves as a wellness and relaxation area. Analogous to Villa Chipperfield North, a separate, spacious guest house completes the villa ensemble.
